Camera Obscura
A defined in Wiki the Camera Obscura is "a darkened box with a convex lens or aperture for projecting the image of an external object onto a screen inside. It is important historically in the development of photography." It is also called a pinhole camera due to the tiny hole, usually made from a push pin, that lets the light into the dark box to expose the light sensitive paper. The latin translation is literally "dark box." Understand how this camera works is essential in understanding how all cameras function as a whole.
